Quilt Preparation

I would like the batting and the backing to be at least 3 to 4 inches larger on all sides.

Make sure your top and backing have been squared.

Remove all loose threads (I trim some on the top as I quilt your top) as much as possible.

Try to press your seams... its hard to go over seams that are lumpy, try to make them lay as flat as possible.

Check all seams on the outside edge of your quilt. Try to have them backstitched if possible. This will help in seams opening up when I load them on the long-arm.

Try to imagine

What color thread you'd like to have your top quilted in....

What kind of pattern/design you'd like to have me quilt your top. Whether it is floral, meander etc.
